Terms & Conditions
1. Who we are
Durable Doors ([PAUL TO CONFIRM: legal trading name, entity and registered address — I-06]) supplies made-to-measure composite door sets manufactured by a third-party fabricator. We are a supply-only retailer: we do not survey, measure or install.
2. Made-to-order goods and your measurements
Every door set is manufactured to the measurements and options you enter at the time of order. You are responsible for the accuracy of your measurements. At checkout you must confirm this explicitly before payment is taken. Because each door is bespoke, made-to-order goods are exempt from the usual change-of-mind cancellation rights under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 once manufacture has begun. [PAUL TO CONFIRM — NOT LEGAL ADVICE]
3. Prices and payment
All prices are shown in pounds sterling and include VAT. Payment is taken in full at the time of order through our card-payment provider, Stripe. Your order is not sent for manufacture until it has passed our own review after payment.
4. Delivery
Delivery is to UK mainland addresses. We (or the fabricator’s carrier) deliver the finished door set to your address; someone must be present to receive and check it. Certain remote postcodes may need individual arrangements — we will contact you if so.
5. Checking your door and reporting damage
Check the door set on arrival. Any transit damage or manufacturing defect must be reported to us within 48 hours of delivery, with photos. [PAUL TO CONFIRM: damage-reporting window — default 48 hours]
6. Fitting
We are supply-only. Do not book or pay a tradesperson until your door has arrived and been checked. We are not liable for installation costs, including costs arising from a delayed, damaged or incorrectly manufactured door.
7. Returns and faults
Manufacturing faults are handled under the fabricator’s warranty — contact us and we will manage the claim. Doors manufactured to incorrect customer-supplied measurements are not returnable. [PAUL TO CONFIRM — returns policy default per assumption A8]
8. Complaints and contact
